On 12 May 2005, LEA announced that it had been acquired by
the HF Company Group.

This acquisition has enabled HF Company to gain control of both the delivery of signals to the house via satellite dish, aerial or telephone wires and the distribution of these signals within the house via PLC products. This makes it possible to offer digital convergence in the Group’s 5 key fields of expertise:

“Voice, Data, Video, Home Security and Automation.”

LEA’s technology allied to the expertise of HF Company in the design of consumer products and mass marketing will allow the Group to quickly become a major player in "the digital home for all" market.
