The NetPlug85+ is a HomePlug Turbo compliant Ethernet adaptor which provides communication over
any electrical wiring at the speed of up to 85 Mbps (raw bit rate).

NetPlug85+ uses the electrical wiring already installed in homes as a path to transmit digital data, voice and audio & video between devices.
Plug and Play feature ensures that the NetPlug85+ acts just like a physical network cable between domestic power sockets without any configuration.

NetPlug85+ is designed to support multimedia home networking, IPTV and triple-play applications.

A NetPlug plugged into an electrical socket (using its power supply lead) instantly transforms it into a network access point. Up to 16 pieces of equipment (PC and peripherals) can communicate with each other and / or share Internet access via the electrical current, without any re-cabling. The security of data transmitted over this network is provided by the integrated DES 56 bits encryption.
