The first analogue xDSL filter (ADSL/ADSL2+/VDSL2) integrated onto silicon introduces Moore’s Law to analogue filtering technology over cooper wires !

Thanks to its patented ActiveWireTM technology,
LEA has successfully integrated 0.5um ASIC CMOS analogues with conventional DSL analogue filters (traditionally constructed using discrete passive components). This integration increases the volume/density ratio of a normal DSL port by two- or
three-fold.
This major advance will enable innovative and low-cost solutions to the main problem of space in Central Office and street cabinets :
- increasing number of xDSL ports in a Central Office,
- integrated splitter in MDF connecting blocks,
- splitter integration in street cabinets.
